Abnormal Psychology and Medical Marijuana

So, this semester I am taking Abnormal Psychology. I love the class and it is so interesting! Today, we were talking about treatments and therapy of disorders and Psychopharmacology.
My professor mentioned different types of psychoactive drugs. So I asked “Where does medical marijuana fit into all of this?” She said that technically it is still classified as hallucinogen; in the same category as LSD, Ecstasy, Shrooms, etc. and they actually cause mental disorders…
